Deloitte Summit at 410 West Georgia

2023 BC CISC Award Winner for Architecture & Award Winner for Engineering!

The Deloitte Summit office tower at 410 West Georgia has become a landmark for the coastal city.

 

The 25-story, 301 ft tall building includes living green walls, offset stacked cubes with glass floors, enabling views of the streets below. The Westbank building will be  LEED Platinum status and is located in the heart of downtown.

Supermétal fabricated and erected 5000 metric tonnes of steel for the project. This is one of the most technically complex buildings with high seismic considerations.

​

To accept the loads of the cubes, our engineering department has designed  massive connections to the nodes to accept axial and vertical loads. The nodes are huge blocks of steel measuring up to 750mm x 750mm accepting forces from the mega-columns and multi-story trusses.
